MOXI™ Laser Skin Rejuvenation

What Is the MOXI Laser?

The MOXI laser revitalizes skin showing the initial signs of sun damage and aging using a versatile, non-ablative, fractional laser that’s part of Sciton’s mJOULE dual-wavelength platform. MOXI treatments can also minimize skin discoloration. Non-ablative fractional lasers deliver heat below the skin’s surface through thousands of tiny, deep channels without damaging surrounding tissue. This fractional approach to skin resurfacing significantly reduces the time needed to heal compared to treating an entire area with an ablative laser. 

MOXI laser skin treatment times are usually less than 30 minutes, making them ideal lunchtime procedures. Because the procedure is so gentle and requires little downtime, it usually takes 3 to 4 treatment sessions to get optimal results. 

Who’s a Good Candidate for MOXI Laser Treatments?

The MOXI laser procedure is ideal for younger patients interested in “pre-juvenation“—treatments designed to prevent early signs of aging from becoming more noticeable. The procedure, which is suitable for all skin types, produces healthy, firmer skin with a smoother texture. 

Women concerned about skin discoloration, such as melasma, can also benefit from MOXI treatments. 

Can MOXI Be Combined With Other Treatments?

Absolutely. In fact, the mJOULE platform used by MOXI also includes the BBL HERO (High Energy Rapid Output) treatment, the fastest, most powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) device in the aesthetic industry. MOXI and BBL complement each other because MOXI is an ideal treatment to maintain the results produced by BBL procedures. 

MOXI treatments can also complement injectable fillers such as JUVÉDERM® or injections of BOTOX®, Jeuveau™, or other neurotoxins to create customized results.
