What Makes Radiesse Different?

Radiesse is made from calcium hydroxylapatite, or CaHA, a unique ingredient that makes it different from dermal fillers made with hyaluronic acid (HA). Thanks to CaHA, Radiesse provides both immediate improvements to lost volume that lasts up to 1 year and is a biostimulator that triggers your body’s natural healing process to promote new elastin and collagen growth over time.

Thanks to its unique molecular structure, Radiesse injections can be built upon to achieve improved structural improvements to the cheeks, jawline, and backs of the hands.

For men and women who want to address lax, loose skin on their face, neck, and body, we offer hyper-dilute Radiesse, a combination of microneedling with Radiesse to treat crepey, loose skin to lift and tighten the skin on the face, neck, chest, arms, buttocks, and thighs.

What Does Radiesse Do?

Radiesse is the only CaHA injectable treatment that is FDA-approved for use in the lower face and hands. Radiesse injections can be used to treat:

  • Smile lines
  • Corners of the mouth
  • Marionette lines
  • Chin wrinkles
  • Smile lines
  • Jowls
  • Jawline
  • Loss of volume in the back of hands
  • Visible veins and tendons in the hands
  • Skin laxity caused by cellulite
  • Lift and enhance the buttocks

Radiesse injections in the lower face, jawline, and backs of hands not only fill in lost volume immediately, but also kick-start your body’s natural healing response to help your body produce new collagen and elastin to achieve long-term results. As you continue your Radiesse treatments, we can build upon that new collagen to create even better results over time.

Hyper-Dilute Radiesse can be used to treat loose, crepey skin on the:

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Chest

  • Hands

Hyper-Dilute Radiesse for Cellulite

At CaloSpa, we use hyper-dilute Radiesse to treat skin laxity associated with cellulite to lift and tighten the skin on the buttocks and upper thighs. When used in conjunction with other cellulite treatments designed to address dimpling and underlying skin structures, we can effectively treat the appearance of cellulite to restore your tight, smooth contours.

What Is a Hyper-Dilute Radiesse Treatment Like?

At the beginning of your treatment, your provider will clean and disinfect your skin then apply a local anesthetic to numb the treatment area. Once your skin has been prepped, your provider will use the SkinPen® microneedling device on the treatment areas to penetrate the skin’s dermis. SkinPen uses ultra-fine needles to create micro-channels in the skin to reach the deeper levels of the skin. These micro-channels trigger your body’s natural healing process to lift and tighten the skin as it heals.

After your provider has used the SkinPen to create micro-channels, she will apply the hyper-dilute Radiesse to your skin. The Radiesse solution will penetrate into the deep layers of tissue through the channels created by the microneedling treatment and will target the deep layers of tissue to plump and tighten the skin, improving the appearance of crepey, lax skin.

As your skin heals, you will see continued improvement to the appearance of your skin. Your body will produce new collagen and elastin, resulting in smoother, more youthful looking skin.

Nonsurgical Butt Lift (BBL) with Radiesse

Men and women who want to enhance their buttocks but are not interested in surgery may choose to have a nonsurgical Brazilian butt lift (BBL) using Radiesse.

Radiesse is injected directly into the tissue of the buttocks, creating a subtle enhancement to the buttocks that improves over time as your body produces new collagen and elastin. A nonsurgical butt lift with a biostimulator like Radiess or Sculptra® Aesthetic works to achieve a subtle improvement to the appearance of the buttocks, adding volume to areas where it is needed and helping smooth and plump the shape of the buttocks over time.

Like Radiesse dermal filler injections for the face, nonsurgical butt lift patients require multiple treatment sessions to achieve their final results. Final results are long-lasting and are achieved within 6 months.

Often Asked

Can I combine Radiesse with other treatments?

During your consultation, the experts at CaloSpa will create a customized treatment plan to suit your aesthetic goals. This may include combining Radiesse with injections of  Jeuveau® for lines and wrinkles on the forehead, brows, and around the eyes, Sculptra® Aesthetic to fill hollow temples, and Restylane® Kysse™ to enhance the lips.

They may recommend combining your injectable treatments with a chemical peel or MOXI™ laser skin rejuvenation to improve the appearance of your skin.

Do you combine hyper-dilute Radiesse with other body treatments?

Hyper-dilute Radiesse is a great treatment to combine with other nonsurgical body treatments, like CoolSculpting® Elite to remove unwanted pockets of fat, Sofwave™ skin tightening to enhance the skin tightening effects, and EMSCULPT® to tighten and firm the skin on the buttocks and thighs to improve results.

How long does Radiesse last?

Radiess is considered a long-lasting injectable filler thanks to its acting as a biostimulator to generate production of collagen and elastin. Most Radiess treatments last 12 to 18 months. There are many factors that can affect how long your Radiesse results last, but consistent treatments work to build up the effects of Radiesse over time.
