EMSCULPT Treatments
EMSCULPT is a game-changing procedure that approaches body contouring from the perspective of both fat reduction and muscle toning. That’s important because fat reduction alone can’t create the more well-defined appearance that women and men want. For patients who already exercise regularly, EMSCULPT treatments can create flatter stomachs, toned arms and calves and tighter, lifted buttocks without surgery. Because the treatment is non-invasive, there’s no downtime. We recommend scheduling 4 30-minute treatment sessions over a 2-week period. After completing a series of 4 treatments, we recommend 2 treatments per year for maintenance.
The Procedure
Unlike other nonsurgical fat reduction procedures, EMSCULPT doesn’t use either cold temperatures or heat to create results. Instead, EMSCULPT uses high–intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology that stimulates involuntary muscle contractions–as many as 20,000 per 30-minute session. This can’t be achieved during a normal workout session. The rapid contractions accelerate the metabolism of fat cells. The treatment builds muscles and burns fat, without affecting surrounding tissue. The procedure involves having 2 panels strapped to the treatment area with patients lying either on their back or stomach, depending on the treatment area.

How much does an EMSCULPT treatment cost in Lexington and Louisville, KY?
The cost of EMSCULPT at our Kentucky and Indiana medspas, like other cosmetic treatments, varies depending the patient and the extent of the treatment that’s needed. During your consultation our providers evaluate your concerns and recommend a customized treatment plan. At that time, we can provide a detailed price quote.
Does the procedure hurt?
The treatment itself is tolerated well by patients. The day after the procedure many patients say it feels like they had an intense workout, with sore muscles.
When will I see results?
Like other nonsurgical body contouring treatments, the results tend to appear gradually. You may see the initial results after the last of the 4 treatment sessions, but you’ll see continued improvement over the course of the next several months. For even better results, we may recommend combining your EMSULPT treatment with Semaglutide and Tirzepatide weight loss treatments to help you lose weight as you build and tone muscle.
